Stronger and louder together

A new Spotify playlist promises to have you grooving along, as you listen to the favourites of some of our most decorated musical artists.

Glassbreakers lead singer Ilan Kidron, together with the team at JCA in Sydney, are bringing the ruach directly to the community with the new Spotify playlist, Louder Together.

At a time when everyone needs it, the playlist brings a bit of naches and joy to the world.

The idea came to JCA CEO Alain Hasson when walking on the Coogee Beach promenade after a stressful day at work.

“I had my headphones on and an urge to dance and sing – I’m sure I got some strange looks, but it really started a fire in me,” said Hasson.

“It made me feel good listening to music that I love and that I could relate to experiences of being together with family, friends and our community.”

Why not bring that joy to everyone around Australia and the world?

From Lior to Monsieur Camembert, Shimon Farkas to Baby et Lulu, Sincopa and so many more, Kidron approached some big artist names from the musical community to contribute to the selection, bringing listeners a feel-good party for the ages.

“We all want to keep sharing the good times, so I asked an incredible group of well-known musicians in our community which songs gave them the most happiness and here is the answer,” Kidron explained.

“Huge 70s disco hits, fresh pop anthems, big Hebrew vibes, some folk songs and, of course, old-time classics.”

Whether it’s bopping along with your kids, blasting the playlist on your daily walk or run, or unashamedly dancing in the living room, it’s a great playlist to pop onto your phone, bringing light and happiness as we move into the new Jewish year.

Described as fantastically eclectic to match our fantastically eclectic local and global community, the playlist is available for free on Spotify.
