“AROUND the World” was the topic for Kesser Torah College’s year 4 Ivrit Writing and Speaking Competition last month.

The students presented in fluent Hebrew, having written the speeches themselves, speaking about an international city with an emphasis on description words to transport the audience to another land for a brief moment.

The vocabulary, accurate use of grammar, fluency in presentation and interesting content were the criteria for the judges.

“We are blown away by the high standard of the presentations! Kol hakavod yeladim!” said Sagit Oron, head of Hebrew.

“Mazal tov to our winners, Zelig Nussbaum and Chloe Vogel.”

The judging panel comprised principal Roy Steinman, Noelene Bellingham, Dalia Chriqui, Rabbi Mendy Barber and Chaya Gopin.
