ACCOMPLISHED mental health clinician Talya Rabinowitz has joined JewishCare to support the development of the next phase of its mental health program.

Rabinowitz, a clinical psychologist, trainer and engagement facilitator, will take on the role of chief development officer.

She is passionate about integrating trauma-informed thinking into all projects as a foundation for greater compassion and care in mental health and business growth.

Rabinowitz has come on board to help JewishCare develop a new mental health service delivery model to address the unmet needs of the community.

Over the next six months, her focus will be on gathering research for two major projects: the improvement of triage and assessment, and the mental health needs surrounding early intervention for families and children.

This will involve integrating the valuable research already conducted at JewishCare surrounding these issues.

JewishCare is aiming to create a centre of excellence through its mental health and wellbeing hub, allowing anyone in the Jewish community to seek help through online platforms or direct service provision.

Rabinowitz, who has consulted on projects for major brands including Coke, Breville, Uncle Toby’s and Lion, is looking forward to learning more about the rich history and expertise that already exists at JewishCare, while joining the mission to serve the mental health and wellness needs of the community.
