TWO caring Jewish community organisations, Emmy Monash Aged Care and C Care, have partnered up.

C Care is leasing an industrial kitchen and food storage and packing area from the aged care home on its premises at the corner of Hawthorn and Dandenong Roads.

C Care, which supports those who are experiencing food insecurity and social isolation, has experienced significant client demand growth over the last six months, and was in search of new facilities, so when a disused industrial kitchen became available at Emmy Monash it made perfect sense to join forces.

Emmy Monash board member and key driver of the partnership Alan Synman said, “We are thrilled to be able to support another Jewish charity and assist C Care with a professional kitchen space so they can continue their valuable work in the community.”

Located in a central pocket of Caulfield North, C Care is set to thrive in its new premises. The offer by Emmy Monash of a competitive lease will enable both parties to extend their outreach and work on ways to pool their resources for the benefit of those they serve.

C Care founder and CEO Rabbi Shlomo Nathanson, told The AJN “We are very proud to begin this partnership. Like Emmy Monash, C Care is an integral part of our community, and this lease will ensure we can continue to support those in need.”

Both organisations believe that this partnership will provide long term benefits for both parties, Emmy Monash president Rod Nirens believes that C Care was the right fit, saying, “We have been looking for the right tenant for our vacant building for a while now, and this partnership makes perfect sense. We are very excited to have C Care and Emmy under the same roof.”
