Hidden stories let loose
For Suzy Zail, Inkflower is the truest thing she has ever written. Mirroring her experiences with her father – a child Holocaust survivor who died from motor neurone disease – Suzy tells the story of 16-year-old Lisa, whose father is dying. Before he dies, he needs to finally share his story with his family. Jessica Abelsohn spoke to the author about finally writing the story that has been nagging at her for years.
