Trip of a lifetime for educators
The unique initiative aims to deepen understanding of Israel's heritage.
Applications for the Jewish National Fund (JNF) Educators Study Tour have been extended to August 4.
This is an all-expenses-paid tour on the ground covering accommodation, meals, internal travel, professional guides and facilitators. Participants are responsible for flights, travel insurance and pre/post tour expenses.
The program, which will return after a two-year hiatus, brings together educators from Jewish, independent and public schools across Australia and New Zealand to explore Israel’s rich history, vibrant culture, environmental innovation and cutting-edge education initiatives.
Throughout the 10-day immersive experience, participants will visit Israeli schools and connect with local teachers and environmental leaders; tour historical and modern sites that tell Israel’s evolving story; explore JNF-supported projects in land, water and forestry across the country; and engage in high-level educational programming focusing on Zionist and environmental values, with resources adapted for Australian classrooms.
This unique initiative aims to deepen understanding of Israel’s heritage, develop classroom-ready resources and foster stronger connections between Australian and Israeli educators and communities.
