Two IDF soldiers killed, two seriously wounded in Gaza fighting
Two IDF soldiers were killed and another two were seriously wounded during clashes with Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

(THE TIMES OF ISRAEL) The Israel Defense Forces says two soldiers were killed and another two were seriously wounded during clashes with Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip today.
The slain soldiers are named as Staff Sgt. Roei Wolf, 20, from Ramat Gan, and Staff Sgt. Lavi Lipshitz, 20, from Modiin, who both served in the Givati Infantry Brigade’s reconnaissance unit.
The families of the wounded soldiers have been updated, the IDF says.
Earlier, the military said it was engaging in fierce battles with Hamas and numerous terrorists had been killed.
IDF reports ‘fierce battles,’ at close quarter
The Israel Defense Forces says that in the last few hours, troops are engaged in “fierce battles against Hamas terrorists deep in the Gaza Strip.”
The military says ground and air forces hit several Hamas positions and anti-tank guided missile squads.

According to the IDF, troops have killed dozens of terrorists amid the fighting today, as well as seizing weapons.
IDF Spokesman Daniel Hagari says the troops are fighting terrorists at close quarters, heroically and courageously. “This is dangerous conflict. It has a price,” Hagari says. “It is complex, but it is essential to our capacity to achieve the aims of the war.”
The IDF shares new footage showing troops operating in Gaza, as well as some of the recent strikes.
The IDF statement does not provide information on any potential casualties on the Israeli side.
