MIZRACHI Bondi’s renovations are nearing completion, with the project set to finish in time for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

“What a journey these past few months have been,” Rabbi Shua Solomon said in a video update to the community.

“We can’t wait for you all to see this incredible, remodelled and renovated shule, and we look forward to continuing this journey ahead for your future and the future of our entire community.

“We still have some work to do on our downstairs area. This will include a refurbished hall, where we can continue to celebrate those important milestones together as a community.”

The overhaul included additional seating to accommodate the growing community, as well as the refurbished hall, bimah and aron kodesh.

The new downstairs area will include an expanded kitchen and office space, and a larger area for children.

Rabbi Solomon said, “We are so excited to see all of you once again on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, the most important days of our calendar year, with Chazan Isser [Feiglin] on the bimah, a full shule, and our community coming together once again as one as we finish and see the amazing once in a lifetime work that has gone into this newly renovated shule.”
