Rabbi Gabi Kaltmann of the ARK centre was recently spotted on the set of the Hollywood blockbuster Ricky Stanicky that is currently being filmed in Melbourne.
The film features well known Disney star Zac Efron and former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) performer and actor, John Cena.
Jewish actors Jeff Ross and Andrew Santino are also in the upcoming movie that is currently being filmed in Fitzroy, both seemingly portraying rabbis.
Rabbi Kaltmann was the rabbinic consultant on the set of the highly anticipated film and told The AJN, “It was a pleasure to meet the celebrity cast and crew.
“One particular highlight was hanging out with proud Jewish comedian and Roast Master General Jeff Ross who had me laughing the entire time,” Rabbi Kaltmann added.
He said, “The movie promises to delight audiences with its unique plot and great storyline.
“There are some scenes in the film that will really resonate with the Jewish community, and I’m stoked to have been involved in guiding the actors and producers in that respect.”
