Zimbler to represent Australia
The mission, scheduled for early next month, will include official visits to Argentina, Uruguay and Chile.
B’nai B’rith Australia and New Zealand has proudly announced that its president, Janine Zimbler, has been selected to join a prestigious international delegation as part of the upcoming B’nai B’rith Leadership Mission to Latin America.
The mission, scheduled for early next month, will include official visits to Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. It will bring together senior B’nai B’rith leaders from around the world, including Rob Spitzer, president of B’nai B’rith International, and Dan Mariaschin, chief executive officer.
During the week-long program, delegates will take part in high-level diplomatic briefings and meet with government representatives, policymakers and Jewish community leaders across the region. The mission will provide a unique opportunity to strengthen international relationships, exchange insights and engage directly with the opportunities and challenges facing Jewish communities in Latin America.
This initiative comes at a critical time, as concerns about rising antisemitism continue to impact communities globally, including in parts of Latin America. The delegation aims to deepen mutual understanding, reinforce communal resilience and advance B’nai B’rith’s enduring commitment to advocacy on behalf of Jewish communities worldwide.
Zimbler said she was honoured to represent Australia and New Zealand on the mission.
