MEET the experts with Australian Friends of Rambam (Ausforam), and cycle with them too!

Valentine’s month is all about the heart and the Australian charity is focusing on this with their online webinar and community bike ride, both of which are aiming to address heart disease and heart failure.

Ausforam supports the Rambam Health Care Campus bringing together cutting-edge technologies and information, which help thousands of citizens in Australia, in particular in Melbourne and Sydney, to improve health in our communities.

Ausforam conducts a range of health and wellness activities such as lectures, events and webinars utilising local expertise and strengthening global collaboration with world renowned facilities, in conjunction with experts based at Rambam.

On February 20, they are hosting an online webinar, with Professor Thomas Marwick of the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and Professor Lior Gepstein of the Rambam Health Care Campus to discuss innovative biological approaches for the study and treatment of heart disease, and later in the month, on February 27, cyclists are invited to join Cycling from the Heart in collaboration with Maccabi Cycling Victoria to raise awareness of, and funds for, sudden heart failure.

There will be two routes of 20km and 45km respectively.
