JEWISH Care’s residential homes have received a quality tick of approval with both the Gary Smorgon House and Residential Home Carnegie achieving outstanding results in their recent re-accreditation audits.

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission conducted the accreditation and audit process which measured their performance against the eight quality standards including consumer participation and all quality standards were successfully met with no recommendations for improvement.

In the wake of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety findings, this re-accreditation is important for the aged care organisation.

CEO of Jewish Care, Professor Alan Lilley said, “The excellent report cards demonstrate Jewish Care’s ongoing commitment to providing and delivering safe and high-quality care to our elders.

“I would like to thank and recognise our wonderful staff for their continued commitment to excellence in care and acknowledge the staff, elders and their families who assisted assessors during the accreditation process.”
