THOUSANDS of Orthodox Jews filled the prayer area and plaza of the Western Wall in Jerusalem on April 1 to participate or watch the Birkat Cohenim (Blessing of the Cohenim) prayer ceremony during Pesach.

Many people watched the ceremony from vantage points overlooking the Kotel.

Hundred of extra police were on standby but there were no reports of any incidents.
