Calendar for a worthy cause
LEADING artists have pitched in to help Temple Beth Israel raise funds for disadvantaged members of the community with a special calendar.

FOR the second year in a row, celebrated artists have pitched in to help Temple Beth Israel (TBI) raise funds for disadvantaged members of the community and raise the profile of the synagogue with a special calendar.
The donated pictures featured in the calendar, including works by artists Joseph Brown, Peter Churcher and Frank Werther, will also be auctioned off on August 2 at TBI.
The auction will be opened by Liz Beattie, the Parliamentary Secretary Assisting the Premier on Multicultural Affairs.
Three talented King David School students also have their works featured in this year’s calendar. The auction is on Sunday, August 2, 2pm at Temple Beth Israel. Entry is by gold coin donation. Calendars can be purchased from TBI for $25.
