Delivering $31 million for vital projects in Israel
More than $31 million has been directed to projects on the ground.
After October 7, 2023, entire communities across Israel were forced from their homes, lives were devastated, and essential systems stopped functioning.
The recently released JNF Impact Report for 2025, is a record of what it takes to restore the conditions for daily life to return, and of responsibility to be met.
JNF Australia exists to secure a safe and prosperous future for the land and people of Israel, and in this moment, that mission has taken on renewed clarity.
Since October 7, JNF donors have responded to the crisis and helped rebuild Israel’s frontline communities stronger, more stable, and more secure than before.
With their support, a staggering 104 projects have been delivered across more than 90 frontline communities, supporting over 50,000 families.
More than $31 million has been directed to projects on the ground.
In the immediate aftermath, JNF donors enabled rapid, targeted action, and in the months that followed, they helped communities return, rebuild and restore daily life.
Infrastructure is continuing to be rebuilt, essential services are operating, families are coming back, and displaced communities are slowly beginning to function again.
Stabilising communities is only the first phase. Ensuring they remain viable is what follows.
Today, that work continues with a clear focus: not only to rebuild what was lost, but to strengthen these regions for the long term.
Every project has been identified and delivered with trusted partners on the ground, ensuring funding is directed with precision to areas of greatest need.
As always, all funds distributed by JNF in Israel are allocated in full to specific projects.
JNF representatives in Israel verify each project, ensuring full accountability, from donation through to delivery.
“When entire communities are displaced, the response cannot be symbolic. It has to be immediate, precise and sustained,” CEO of JNF Australia Doron Lazarus said.
“This work is about restoring the conditions for people to come home and rebuild their lives.
“Many communities are beginning to function again, and that’s what our donors have made possible.”
JNF Australia, Lazarus added, has expanded its impact through the establishment of innovation centres across Israel, heralding a new phase of JNF’s impact, advancing Israel’s next stages of growth and capability.
He said this investment will fund research, innovation and start-ups pioneering world-class solutions in agriculture, water, environment, climate and medicine.
“JNF understands that Israel’s future strength and next phase of growth will be driven by ideas, technology and international collaboration.”
