Applications are now open for the fourth cohort of the LaunchPad Leadership program.

A flagship initiative of the Australian Jewish Funders (AJF), this latest iteration will see LaunchPad Leadership move from being a fully virtual program to a hybrid model featuring an immersive, three-day, in-person retreat at a rural location in Victoria and four virtual sessions.

The program will explore a wide range of themes such as collaboration, personal development, Jewish leadership, fundraising, self-care and much more.

It will include outstanding international facilitators.

“LaunchPad Leadership’s vision is to create a ripple effect of growth, inspiration and change, building a network of professional, lay and philanthropic leaders who can navigate the complexities of our times,” AJF CEO Tracie Olcha said.

“Over three cohorts, we’ve engaged 98 leaders from 83 unique organisations across Australia, creating a vibrant network that continues to drive progress in our Jewish for-purpose sector, empowering and inspiring our community’s leaders to connect, think, create and lead together.”

AJF director, community & innovation Rebecca Adler added that LaunchPad Leadership is more than just a leadership program.

“It’s a transformative community that equips leaders with the skills, resources and network needed to lead thriving organisations now and into the future,” she said.

Cassandra Barrett, a board member and professional from different Jewish community organisations, spoke to this transformation from both perspectives.

“Being able to meet and get to know Jewish leaders from across the communal landscape, in a space that felt immediately safe, genuine and welcoming, has been transformative,” she said.

“I would highly recommend LaunchPad Leadership to anyone looking to grow their leadership network or toolkit.”

Upon completion of the retreat, participants will join the LaunchPad Leadership Alumni Network. This platform offers ongoing leadership development opportunities and workshops, ensuring the learning and growth journey continues beyond the retreat itself.

“As the network inspiring effective philanthropy and strengthening the community, AJF understands the importance of robust support mechanisms for our communal organisations and leaders,” Olcha said.

“We are eager to see this vision continue to unfold in the fourth cohort and invite those who resonate with our mission to apply.”

Applications close 11.59pm on Wednesday, July 5. More info/apply: ajf.org.au/launchpad/leadership
