Funds for Ukraine

Beyond the Jewish community, The Joint has also provided winter survival aid to 22,000 people in need, evacuated over 13,000 people and provided baby formula to young mothers.

The Joint Australia is calling for members of the community to show their generosity and donate during its “Giving Day” next Thursday, April 27.

Funds raised on the day will be matched threefold and donated towards the Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC)’s work in Ukraine.

“Together with your kindness and generosity, JDC has been working continuously bringing hope to those facing difficult times,” The Joint Australia national direct Brett Kaye said.

“JDC has provided vital medical assistance to people from all backgrounds, home care for vulnerable Jewish community members, responded to crises in a non-sectarian way, and provided life-saving aid to more than 40,000 refugees.”

Beyond the Jewish community, The Joint has also provided winter survival aid to 22,000 people in need, evacuated over 13,000 people and provided baby formula to young mothers.

“However, we cannot continue to do this alone. We rely on your continued support to provide ongoing humanitarian assistance to those in need,” Kaye said.

“Your donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. This means that together we can continue to bring much-needed help to those facing desperate situations.

“Together, we can create a positive impact in the world and offer a ray of hope to those who are struggling.”
