Growth and expansion
Kesser Torah College has undergone a renovation at the early learning centre.
Kesser Torah College has experienced renewed excitement with the completion of their state-of-the-art renovations at their early learning centre.
Boasting an educational journey for babies from the age of nine months to pre-school children, classrooms have been newly refurbished with the instalment of new play areas and a playground. A new bicycle track with a pedestrian crossing for children to learn about road safety has also been built, accompanied by a new cubby house and sandpit.
A focus on sustainability has led to the establishment of a water-tank, worm farm, compost bin and vegetable patch. Additionally, the children are regularly visited by Adamama Farm, which features an educational component and hands-on experience in the garden. To the delight of the kids, a double mud kitchen has also been installed with a water feature for the summer months.
These new additions to the KTC campus will reinforce the centre’s play-based curriculum, offering children the ability to learn as they engage in imaginative play, experimentation and improvisation, and through the exploration of their environment.
With their ongoing emphasis on Judaism, KTC will continue to offer Hebrew language lessons through the Chalav U’Dvash Ivrit program using song, conversation and Bentzi the puppet. Through daily practices, the children’s experience of their Jewish tradition will continue to be taught and guided by dedicated educators who role model their love for Judaism and transmit that love to the children.
