HAIM sisters strike pose for Coach

HAIM bandmates and sisters Alana, Danielle and Este Haim have teamed up for a new gig, in the form of a modelling shoot for luxury brand Coach.

The leather-happy fashion house that goes heavy on the handbags recently launched a campaign titled “That’s My Ride”, featuring celebs from Jennifer Lopez to Megan Thee Stallion. The Haim sisters – whose official video for their pop hit Want You Back has 34 million views on YouTube – joined the campaign’s refreshed look for the US fall season, taking up its Signature collection alongside a new crew of models.

In a JTA article, the band’s Jewish fans spoke of how empowering the band had been to them.

“I didn’t realise there was a void in Jewish representation in mainstream music today until I saw them live for the first time at Lollapalooza 2013,” one fan said. “My Dad and I have always bonded over music … and I remember feeling the need to call him at that very moment to say, ‘Dad! There’s this sister trio who can shred – and they’re Jewish!'”

The band also recently appeared in the news, thanks to Alana’s Golden Globe nomination for her lead acting role in Paul Thomas Anderson‘s Licorice Pizza.
