Maurice Klein speaks with Hon Sussan Ley MP, Deputy Leader of the Federal Liberal Party about her recent visit to Israel and the UAE as the guest of the Australian & Israel Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC). We hear about the great changes in both Israel and Dubai since her last visit to Israel 10 years ago and growing up in the UAE with her family. Deputy Leader Ley speaks enthusiastically about the immediate achievements and positives of the Abraham Accords with the great hope for peace and prosperity it can bring to the Middle East. A major highlight of her extraordinary six day trip was meeting with Lt Col (Res) Sarit Zehavi and her ALMA NGO in the Galilee, which monitors the security issues on Israel’s Northern borders and Iran.
