Idan Goldberger – Promoting Sheba Medical Centre expertise to the world

Morry Frenkel speaks with Idan Goldberger, Chief Executive of the Australian Friends of Sheba Medical Centre (Tel HaShomer Hospital), Israel. The Sheba complex has been named by Newsweek for the past several years as one of the top 10 hospitals in the world. More than a million patients are treated annually in the hospital, which also houses Israel’s premier Clinical Research Centre. One of a number of ‘Friends’ around the world, the Australian organisation is forging collaborations between local hospitals, research institutes, academia and the Sheba ARC (Accelerate, Redesign & Collaborate) Centre for Digital Innovation, to establish a multidisciplinary approach that also includes industry, business people and investors.
