It was only established four years ago, but the One&All Hub is already a leader in delivering impactful, community-focused disability support.

The approach, programs and facilities it brings to empowering adults with disabilities and psychosocial challenges was recognised at last month’s 2025 Enablement Awards, when it won the Most Innovative Disability Day Service in Australia category.

“Winning this award is an incredible validation of our work and our belief that creativity and community connection are tools for empowerment,” One&All’s founder and executive director Romy Wolman said.

“We are proving that when we invest in innovative, therapeutic pathways, we can restore self-worth, emotional regulation and social confidence, leading to tangible outcomes like micro-enterprise and employment.”

By seamlessly integrating therapeutic support with high quality creative workshops – usually offering a choice of six per day – in art, music, design and storytelling, the hub is redefining what day services can and should be.

One&All’s holistic model centres on the positive qualities and strengths that each individual has, to build real-world skills and foster genuine social inclusion for a population often underserved by traditional care models.

In 2018, One&All’s story began through a collaboration with Jewish House, after being inspired by Kibbutz Kishriot, which enables and supports individuals with special needs in Israel to have a fulfilled life.

The One&All Hub, now located within The Cannery in Rosebery, is pioneering Australia’s first truly inclusive shopping and creative precinct, allowing the NDIS participants to be visible, valued and actively engaged in the community, by selling their artwork and products, contributing to events and interacting with the public. This unique partnership demonstrates how diverse communities can thrive together.

The hub also launched its new community sensory room earlier this year, with a funding contribution from the NSW Government and it is a two-time recipient of Wolper Foundation grants.

Wolman – a 2025 South African in Australia Awards finalist in the social impact category – said One&All’s model is “showing what’s possible when we embrace all abilities and champion social innovation”.
