JERUSALEM – Israeli magician Hezi Din has broken the world record by staying inside a block of ice for 64 hours.

Din, 29, emerged from the eight-tonne ice cube at midnight on December 31 in the heart of Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square.

He broke the previous record of 58 hours set by US magician David Blaine in 2000 in New York’s Times Square.
