Jessica Bialek found
MISSING woman Jessica Bialek has been found and is back at home in Coogee.
Her husband, Sabino Matera, posted on Facebook: “Jessica is safe and at home. Found. Thank you.”
Police had appealed for public assistance to help locate the Jewish woman who went missing from Coogee yesterday.
Bialek, 37, was last seen leaving her home on Dudley Street about 8.30am (Wednesday, April 8) to walk to the bank.
Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Local Area Command were contacted and launched an investigation into her disappearance.
Police said Bialek’s disappearance was “out of character”.
Addressing the media on Thursday, Bialek’s father Michael made an emotional plea.
“We just want to find out from her that she’s safe,” he said. “If there’s a reason that she wants to be on her own we just want to know that she’s safe.”
Bialek’s husband posted a message on Facebook on Wednesday night, saying: “Jessica has gone missing. I spoke to her this morning at 8.30am and she has been out of reach since then.
“We are very concerned about Jessica. Please help me find her! She left home without her car and has not made contact nor returned home.
“Her phone is off. This is a real alarm.”
