In a sweet Instagram post, singer and songwriter Jessie J has revealed the father of her newborn baby, Danish-Israeli basketball player Chanan Safir Colman.

For the duration of her pregnancy, Jessie was tight-lipped about the father of her child, revealing that she had fallen pregnant naturally, following a miscarriage in 2021. Her previous pregnancy was done on her own.

“I’m still in shock; the sadness is overwhelming. But I know I am strong, and I know I will be OK. I also know millions of women worldwide have felt this pain and way worse. I feel connected to those of you I know and those of you I don’t. It’s the loneliest feeling in the world,” she wrote on Instagram when sharing her miscarriage.

While she documented her second pregnancy on Instagram, she never said who the father was. However after the baby’s birth she said that while she wants to protect people she loves, she can’t really keep a secret.

“I met this man weeks after my miscarriage in 2021, like a beam of light. He lit up my dark days. It was a whirlwind of love and a miracle that we fell pregnant naturally with not one issue. Grateful doesn’t cut it. He has given me many of the best gifts of my life. He didn’t let go of my hand this day, and I wouldn’t be able to go through it without him. The calm to my crazy. The peace to my fear. The Daddy to my baby. Thank you.”

But apparently Jessie is pretty good at keeping a secret, remaining shtum on her son’s name.
