Jumping into the fashion world

WHEN Jaimi Krost discovered the popularity of jumpsuits during a recent trip to Europe, she teamed up with her sister Bryoni to produce their own line of jumpsuits.

SISTERS Jaimi and Bryoni Krost have always wanted to work together on a creative project. So when Jaimi returned from travels across Europe and remarked on the growing trend of jumpsuits, they knew they’d found a niche to crack into.

“Jumpsuits by nature are an essentially unique product and it was this uniqueness that inspired us to introduce this specific product to Sydney,” said Bryoni.

“Our desire to collaborate, combined with a keen interest in the world of fashion and clothing itself, has fundamentally driven the production of our line of jumpsuits.”

Earlier this month the sisters launched their label, JBKROST, with their first range of jumpsuits.

Jaimi, 20, is studying fashion business and design at FBI Fashion College, while Bryoni, 22, is a hairdresser at salon Corte Hair. It’s that combination that they believe makes them a good creative team.

“We work very well together so being extremely close as sisters only enhances and helps our business relationship,” said Bryoni.

They are looking forward to expanding the range with more colours, fabrics and variations on their current line.

“We are so excited about what the future holds for us and have absolute faith in the longevity of not only this range, but in the future ranges we hope to collaborate on,” added Bryoni.

The jumpsuits retail at $160. Enquiries: jbkrost@hotmail.com or visit their Facebook page, JBKROST.
