Labor Tinkers with Palestine (Stephen Flatow, Senator David Fawcett), Boys Town Jerusalem (Ilana Kaplan)

(The Israel Connexion) – Stephen M. Flatow is a father of five whose then 20-year-old daughter, Alisa, died in April 1995 following an Iranian terrorist attack while she was a student in Israel.

Senator David Fawcett is a Liberal Senator for South Australia and the Deputy Chair of the Australian Parliament’s Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade.

Senator David Fawcett stood up in the parliament last week and asked Australia’s Foreign Minister Penny Wong whether the Albanese Labor government would be changing its position on the legality of Israeli settlements and the language it uses to describe the occupied territories. (23:15-41:59)

Ilana Kaplan serves as Boys Town Jerusalem’s Australian development coordinator and she tells us about a very special school. (42:06-58:16)
