Logie-winning success

FILMMAKER Marc Radomsky has won a Logie award for his documentary, Allan Kessing: The Reluctant Whistleblower.

The episode, part of the SBS series Law and Disorder, focused on a customs official convicted for leaking a classified report uncovering security breaches at Sydney airport.

“It’s fantastic to be recognised by the mainstream television industry, especially for Law and Disorder, which was the giant killer on the [Logie’s] night,” Radomsky told The AJN.

“It’s a travesty that our society allows those who speak out in the public interest, usually to the detriment of their own wellbeing, to be vilified and even criminalised by draconian legislation. We should rather celebrate whistleblowers for the heroes they are”.
