We've collated a list of the organisations who are providing financial aid to Israel so you know where you can donate.

–Throughout the world, communities are banding together to support the people of Israel. Whether that’s solidarity rallies, sending letters to soldiers, lighting up monuments or contributing finanically.

Here are the organisations who are coordinating efforts to help those in Israel and on the frontline.

Australian Friends of Shaare Zedek

Brothers for Life

Brothers for Life is a not-for-profit organisation, created and run by injured Israeli veterans, which gives critical and immediate help to other injured Israeli combat veterans who sacrificed their lives for the safety of the Jewish people.

Emunah Australia

Emunah is one of the leading social welfare organisations in Israel and the largest Zionist provider of human services, with a strong emphasis on Jewish values.

Emunah provides lifesaving services to families at risk including infants, children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens who unfortunately need extra help and support.

Hadassah Australia

Hadassah Australia supports healthcare and collaborative medical research programs that connect the Australian community with Israel.

JNF Australia

We have been working closely with the wonderful communities of Israel’s south for many years and will be guided by where they most need the funds.

Their current needs include the replenishment of equipment for first responders and self-defence units, respite relocation for Gaza border families, mental health support and mobile shelters.

Magen David Adom (NSW)

Magen David Adom saves lives every day by providing Israel’s emergency medical response and ambulance services, managing the national blood bank and providing international disaster aid.

The vast majority of the medics and paramedics are dedicated and selfless volunteers, who rely on worldwide supporters to continue their life saving work.

IsraAID – Stand Up

IsraAID is partnering with local organisations and civil society initiatives working in Israel’s south and with evacuees to support their efforts, focusing on psycho-social support, stress relief activities, and relief supplies as needed.

The Joint Australia

The Joint leverages a century of experience to help devastated communities overcoming the most difficult challenges by providing immediate humanitarian aid. The Joint Australia was formed to promote the work of The Joint and raise funds to support its ongoing mission of rescue, relief and renewal of Jewish life across the globe.

United Israel Appeal

With support from global Jewry and ‘Friends of Israel’, UIA raises funds for Israel’s national priorities which are identified at a strategic level collectively by Keren Hayesod-UIA, The Jewish Agency for Israel and the government of Israel.

Donations will deploy urgent financial support to the Victims of Terror Fund which will aid the immediate needs of victims of this outrageous terror.

WIZO Australia

WIZO is on the ground and needs your support to provide vital services, emotional and psychological support to thousands of children & families who have become victims of war.

Zaka Tel Aviv

For over 20 years, ZAKA Tel-Aviv has been the elite emergency response unit of central Israel, serving in over 21 cities across the country with thousands of volunteers, and is recognised as a civil extension of Israel’s emergency.

ZAKA Tel-Aviv is here to serve the people of Israel. We work day and night, doing everything we can in response to acts of terror, natural disasters, and tragedies big and small, to ensure the safety of all Israelis.

ZDVO – Beit Halochem Australia

The Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization (ZDVO) Beit Halochem Australia’s number one priority is to support the care and rehabilitation of Israel’s 50,000 injured soldiers, victims of terror and their families by raising awareness and much needed funds.

New Israel Fund

NIF is coordinating a fundraiser for those on the front lines, prioritising basic care for the most vulnerable groups, and preventing inter-communal violence in mixed Arab and Jewish cities.

SmartAID

SmartAID is an Israeli humanitarian aid charity with an Australian branch, specialising in providing disaster relief and high-tech solutions around the world. Currently in Israel, it is providing food and essential items to children and families in need, plus technical support to local charity first responders.

Operation Golda

A grassroots aid effort for Israel based in Sydney, Operation Golda already has hundreds of volunteers. It’s first purpose is to source and send to Israel supplies that are urgently needed on the ground, including first aid kits. The second is to assist Israelis who are currently stranded in Sydney, through help with accommodation, meal deliveries, babysitting, and finding airline tickets home.
