The JewishCare board welcomed Dr Jonny Taitz as clinical director at the AGM in late November.

With a wealth of medical expertise, Taitz was until recently the clinical adviser to the Paediatric Patient Safety program at the NSW Clinical Excellence Commission.

He is also a director of MedEarth, was a member of Variety The Children’s Charity medical grants committee, a long-standing board member and former vice-chairperson of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and is immediate past chairperson of the Smile Foundation.

JewishCare president Jason Sandler said the organisation was delighted to have someone of Taitz’s calibre working with them to strengthen the community.

“On behalf of JewishCare, it is an honour to have Jonny join the board and I know that his contribution is going to be meaningful and significant to the organisation and the community we serve,” he said.
