In both of their speeches, Spender and Bragg congratulated and warmly welcomed this newest group of Australian citizens, and spoke about the vital contribution that multiculturalism makes to Australia, and how it serves as a true asset and strength to the country, in so many ways.

The new Australian citizens came to Australia from 10 different countries: Ukraine, Italy, France, USA, Greece, Indonesia, Brazil, Britain, South Africa and the Philippines.
