Putt-ing yourself out there
Aa special Tu b'Av singles night on giving young Jewish singles another opportunity to meet.
Young Adults Caulfield Shule (YACS) is teeing off with a special Tu b’Av singles night on Tuesday July 28, giving young Jewish singles another opportunity to meet, mingle, and maybe even spark a meaningful connection. Following last November’s sold-out “Putt Yourself Out There” mini golf singles mixer, YACS is bringing the event back this year.
Last year’s event attracted 60 Jewish singles in their 20s and 30s for an evening that combined light-hearted fun with genuine opportunities to meet new people. The relaxed mini golf setting helped participants strike up conversations naturally while enjoying a social night out.
Tu b’Av, often described as the Jewish festival of love, is the occasion for the event.
Historically associated with matchmaking and new beginnings, the holiday has become a popular time for Jewish communities around the world to celebrate relationships, friendship and connection.
“Putt Yourself Out There: Part 2” is around the corner. It is designed especially for Jewish singles looking to expand their social circles in a comfortable and engaging environment, whether they are hoping to meet someone special or simply enjoy a fun night with like-minded people.
Tickets include 18 holes of mini golf, arcade games, a complimentary drink, and a pizza dinner. Bring your best putting game, an open mind, and a sense of humour. You never know who you might meet.
After all, your next hole-in-one could be finding your bashert.
