Ray White reinstates agent
Ray White reinstates agent Andrew Dimashki after antisemitic posts, citing strict conditions.
Real estate agent Andrew Dimashki has been reinstated by Ray White following an educational program with Jewish organisations, after posting antisemitic comments on social media in October 2024.
Dan White, managing director of the Ray White Group, announced the decision in a letter to business owners, acknowledging it was “not straightforward”.
“After discussing this matter at length internally and with members of the Jewish community, we have decided to allow his return to work at Ray White Judd White,” White wrote.
“We will be monitoring his behaviour closely and our full support remains conditional.”
Dimashki was stood down on October 31, 2025 after his antisemitic comments resurfaced and were shared publicly by the original recipient.
He joined Ray White in May 2025, having been reprimanded by his previous group when he first made the comments.
In a video apology posted on January 16, 2026, Dimashki expressed deep remorse for his actions.
“I made a terrible mistake. I posted an antisemitic comment on social media. I was wrong, and there is no excuse for what I did,” he said in the video.
Dimashki described his educational journey, including visits to the Sydney and Melbourne Jewish Museums, as transformative.
“I met a Holocaust survivor who shared her story with me. Hearing about the horrors she endured and the pain that still affects her today opened my eyes in a way I never expected. I realised how ignorant I was and how much harm comments like mine can cause.
“I’ve spent time reflecting on the damage that antisemitism causes, not just historically, but today. I now understand that words have power and that casual hatred contributes to a culture of intolerance,” Dimashki said.
White said he accompanied Dimashki to the Sydney Jewish Museum and observed how deeply it affected him.
“Throughout his communications with us since the matter emerged last November, including his apology, Andrew has demonstrated genuine remorse,” White stated.
White acknowledged some in the Jewish community might disagree with the decision but hopes that people will understand it was made “respectfully and in good faith”.
“Antisemitism has no place in our organisation or our community. We hope that through dialogue and education, people can learn and demonstrate genuine change.”
Ray White has organised an educational session with the Sydney Jewish Museum for group members on February 24, aiming to promote tolerance through Holocaust survivors’ testimonies.
The real estate company welcomed the government’s Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion, committing to work with Jewish organisations to prevent such incidents.
