Rockets fired from Gaza strike Israel
TWO rockets launched from the Gaza Strip have exploded in a southern Israeli town.
JERUSALEM — Two rockets launched from the Gaza Strip have exploded in a southern Israeli town.
The two Grad-type rockets hit the Israeli town of Netivot late on December 31. No one was hurt.
The Aksa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was in revenge for the killing of three of its members by the IDF in Nablus last week.
The terrorists were murdered while refusing arrest for shooting to death 45-year-old father of seven Avshalom Meir Chai.
The attack on December 30 follows a mortar attack the previous day, which was the first attack from Gaza into Israel in two weeks.
