LAST month marked 75 years since the end of the Nuremberg Trials, which saw senior surviving Nazis tried for Germany’s war crimes, including the horrors of the Holocaust.

Sands is a Professor of Law at University College London, a practising barrister at Matrix Chambers and award-winning author of the books Lawless World and Torture Team.

At the Jewish Holocaust Centre’s annual Betty & Shmuel Rosenkranz Oration, which connects the community to international thought leaders, attendees will have the chance to gain a deeper understanding of the Holocaust within a global context.

Previous speakers have included leading Shoah specialists Dr Stephen D. Smith, Professor Michael Berenbaum, Paul Salmons and Emeritus Professor Dr Konrad Kwiet.

The oration is at 8pm on Tuesday, November 9.
