Shavuot with UJEB

On Sunday May 29, UJEB hosted its annual Shavuot Family Fun Day.

The event at Glen Huntly Pavilion allowed UJEB participants to engage with Shavuot themes in a range of artistic and food-based activities.

Children made flower crowns, handcrafted Torahs and enjoyed ice-cream cones.

UJEB parent Netaly Doron said the event allowed children to celebrate Shavuot as part of a community.

“We had a great time celebrating Shavuot with fellow schoolmates at the UJEB family Shavuot day.

“It was lovely to meet the UJEB faculty and see the kids connect the delicious activities to learnings from Jewish life,” she said.
