Morry Frenkel speaks with Sinai Gohar Barak, the ecosystem development manager of the DeserTech community in Be’er Sheva, Israel. Together with partner organisations, DeserTech is focussed on exploring and utilising technologies to combat the global challenge posed by desertification, acting locally in the Negev and internationally, by joining with 11 African countries to generate a Great Green Wall of trees across Africa to stop the further spread of the Sahara Desert.
