Women show their Worth at The Great

WOW carried an unmistakable feeling of hope and community.

This year’s Women of Worth (WOW) lit up The Great Synagogue last Sunday with energy and heart. The fifth edition of this event drew a packed crowd for a day filled with stories, dancing, deep conversations and plenty of hugs and smiles.

This year’s theme, “Embracing New Beginnings,” set the tone for a day of renewal and connection. From the opening ritual where every guest planted a seedling, to the closing circle of dance, WOW carried an unmistakable feeling of hope and community.

“It was pure magic,” said founder Caroline Lewis.

“People came curious and left uplifted. There were tears, laughter, dancing and honest conversations. That’s the spirit of WOW, you don’t leave the same as you arrived.”

Highlights of the day included a moving keynote address from Hayley Mayer on finding resilience in life’s most challenging moments, as well as thought-provoking sessions on relationships, wellness and giving with Shoshana Eisner, Dee Fittinghoff, Dina Savitz and Sorella Abrahams.

There was a makeover with Naveen Cardo that reminded everyone of their inner power, and a conversation on storytelling with Kerri Sackville and Lee Kofman, guided by Miriam Hechtman. A joyful Israeli dance finale with Nina Rassaby then had everyone on their feet.

Guests shared not only ideas but also delicious food, sparkling wine and plenty of laughter, making the day as nourishing for the body as it was for the soul.
